Come and join us as I show folks how to use Duotrope, one of my favorite indexing services–live. I ADORE Duotrope! Since I started subscribing I’ve had two chapbooks and almost 40 poems picked up by publishers. In addition to poetry, most small presses and journals want fiction, nonfiction and artwork. So if you write any of those, or are an artist, this service could be handy for you. Please note: It costs $50/year to subscribe to Duotrope. (There are a few aspects of its service one can use free.) You do NOT need to subscribe to attend. And I am NOT affiliated with Duotrope, other than as a librarian I am blown away by its indexing, timeliness, and coverage. Let me introduce you to a really helpful tool. I WILL NOT be selling it–just rejoicing in the fact that it exists and that I will get to share it with you. Hosted by the Clay County Writers chapter of the Florida Writers Association. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Orange Park Library in Orange Park, Fl.
